My name is Esteban Nieves, born in Mexico City, Federal District.

Twenty years ago, I arrived in the United States with the dream of achieving the American Dream and without fear of success. For over 17 years, I worked in restaurants and all types of international cuisine. I was recognized for my skill, knowledge, flavor and touch I bring to the culinary arts.

Today, in 2025, God has given us the opportunity to open a new adventure — El Maná Bakery — together with my family, my wife Erika Méndez, who is also from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, and with my children. We are all here serving you with love and care as our customers. We have loved becoming part of the community and look forward to growing within it.

In addition to this new venture, we also have a ministry at Comunidad Cristiana Fox Lake Church.

God has greatly blessed us with these new ministries, and for that we are thankful and want to share a bit of our story. We would love to get to know each other more, and that’s why we invite you to come to El Maná Bakery so we can connect and share our testimony — one that has led us to many blessings.

We thank you for your support, and as a Christian community here in Mundelein, we trust that God will take control of everything so we can continue moving forward and continue receiving success and blessings.

Come and get to know us at El Maná Bakery!
